Iris Global - Harvest School of Missions - Pemba, Mozambique
HS19
There were approx" 280 Students attending harvest school 19 from October 3rd to December 9th 2013.- among this there were 42 nations represented.
Our family was 1 of 8 that attended harvest school 19, we lived community style which was both fun and trying at times. We had our own room which was furnished by a full bed for us and a twin bunk bed for the kids, we had a bathroom in our room, and we shared a kitchen with the other families.
There were 33 total living in the family compound and we had the privileged of meeting some amazing people that have hearts to change the world. Families that came from all over the globe and are going to bring the love of God to the ends of the earth in the way He has asked them to.

As a family we decided to take the kids with us to everything, so Lincoln and Haley attended every class and church event also they did our village immersion with us and our weekend outreach. I have to say that they did FANTASTIC!!
We were so blessed to be taught by so many outstanding speakers and leaders through out school, some of the ministries that we Ioved hearing about are:

Our time at Harvest School ran at the same time as the local bible school so we were able to spend a a lot of time and make friends with some of the Mozambicans that were attending bible school. It was such an amazing experience because we were able to learn about and hear testimonies but mostly make close friendships with some local students.

Graduation came and we all celebrated together, some with the idea of what was next and some still searching for exactly where God was calling them, but all in all school was a good experience and a time for us as a family to grow stronger and more united and move on to our lives as full time missionaries.
After graduation we did an extended 10 day bush - bush outreach. I have to say that this was the most amazing experience that we had the whole time that we were in Pemba attending Harvest School. It was so amazing to spend time out in the bush bush among the Mozambicans, sitting on their porches and playing with the villages kids and what a privilege to minister to them. We saw hundreds of people saved, many were healed and set free. Lincoln and Haley went on this with us and they did awesome, we had no problems at all and we were welcomed into every village that we set foot in. Gods hand was over us!! He is a good Daddy!!
